Thank you for taking part in Albertina Kerr's 2012 Race for the Roses! Racing Together. More than 4,000 runners and walkers took part in Albertina Kerr’s Race for the Roses, on Sunday, April 1, 2012. They met inside the warm, dry Oregon Convention Center before setting off on half marathon, 10k or 5k races. Join us next year on April 14 to take advantage of the fast and accurate courses wind over bridges, along the waterfront and through the heart of downtown Portland. You’ll enjoy a tech t-shirt, finisher’s rose and commemorative event photo. Most importantly you’ll be giving back at this outstanding local event.
Standing Together. The Race for the Roses is produced by a team of community volunteers that dedicates more than 1,000 hours of service. Ninety-one cents of every dollar raised benefits Albertina Kerr, a local non-profit that has been serving the community for more than 100 years. Where people who face mental health challenges and developmental disabilities are included and empowered. Where families are supported and children have reason to smile. Where everyday people reach out to the most vulnerable and give back to their community.
