Emily Conradson joined Art from the Heart in 2003, excited to share her enthusiasm of creating with a group of fellow artists. She expanded her media of interest to include mosaic, fabric doll making, ceramics, woodworking, printmaking, and natural building. Emily grew up with a friend of the family with William’s syndrome, which led her to recognize that we all have a place and a voice in this crazy world of ours. When not working, Emily can be found playing ping-pong or in her backyard, dreaming and creating her personal slice of paradise.
Brian Hill has been working at Art from the Heart since December, 2008. While at the studio he most enjoys working on a variety of approaches to drawing, painting, printmaking, and working in the woodshop. He aspires to the principles of voluntary simplicity and seeks to become more resourceful in all areas of his life. When he’s not at Art from the Heart, he prefers to be doing something active like riding his bike, skateboarding, going for long walks, or exploring new places. He’s also very passionate about music of all kinds, especially if it has a good rhythm.
Ryan Williams earned his BFA in Painting and Drawing in 2001. He has taught classes in painting, painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, and encaustic. Ryan enjoys the kinetic energy of the studio and the artists' sense of humor.
Jill Storthz joined Art from the Heart in July of 2013. She received her BFA in printmaking from the Art Institute in Chicago in 2000 and has been creating and exhibiting prints and drawings ever since. Jill is excited to work alongside so many talented and sincere artists here at Art from the heart.
