Free Online Training Program with Celeb Trainer Jeremy Hyatt
Jeremy Hyatt is a personal trainer and the head coach of Tsunami Athletics at RiverPlace Athletic Club in Portland. Coaching and training athletes for over 10 years, Jeremy tries to bring variety, intensity, and accountability to all his athletes, taking into consideration people' s unique goals, needs and schedules. As a competitive triathlete, Jeremy puts all his teaching into practice and also uses running races as a way to keep himself accountable to his running progress and pace goals. Jeremy challenges you and your friends to get fit and help your local community at the same time!
Training for any race can be as simple or complex as you want it to be. First thing to consider:your performance goals. Base that from experience, current conditioning, and schedule and you start to create goals that are specific and realistic. These types of goals will give you the best chance of success, whether that goal is completion or victory. Beginners should always start with the beginning program. It is designed to build strength and endurance gradually, allowing the body to make controlled adaptations to a new pattern of movement. If you are currently running at least 5-7 miles a week, you should take the intermediate program into consideration. It is intended to build off your current base and bring speedwork into the program. There is no advanced program as most athletes for this group are already working with an individual coach (or should be).
